Tea and Cake with Luke Clements

If you are a carer under 25 then you should come along to Grimsby town hall on Tuesday 2 June between 5:30 pm and 6pm and listen to Professor Luke Clements who has written a number of books on the rights of disabled people and their carers. Luke was also Special Advisor to the Parliamentary Committee, which scrutinised the Bill that became the Care Act 2014.
Luke will talk about your rights under the new law, you will have the opportunity to discuss your queries with local providers, and have a cup of tea/coffee, a slice of cake, and chat with Luke and other like-minded people about the Care Act and the Children and Families Act, how the two acts will work together and how the changes might affect you.
